About the Artist Scholar Sponsorship Program

The school must raise more than $10 million each year to continue offering a comprehensive arts program. Although parents are asked to provide an annual parent funding contribution, it is completely voluntary, and OCSA is committed to admitting all youth eligible for enrollment without consideration of their family's ability to make a donation.

Approximately 10 percent of the school's 2,200 talented students live below the national poverty level and about 45 percent are in need of some financial assistance to help with the costs of their arts training. We created the Artist Scholar Sponsorship Program (ASSP), in an effort to provide financial support to qualified students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Every dollar donated to ASSP is an investment in the future of a gifted young student with limited resources and opportunities. Please consider sponsoring one or more of these deserving student artists with a tax-deductible donation to the Artist Scholar Sponsorship Program.
