Sponsor an OCSA Student or Support Your Conservatory!

As we approach the holiday season, we invite you to support one or both of the OCSA Foundation’s annual campaigns, the Artist Scholar Sponsorship Program (ASSP) and Hearts for the Arts (H4A). This hybrid giving challenge offers a customizable opportunity to directly support our talented artist-scholars and their arts conservatory experience.

Thanks to the generosity of the OCSA community, the initial $100,000 match has been met for the Pick Your Passion Holiday Matching Gift Challenge! We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed.

Let's keep this momentum going! We are thrilled to share that an additional $50,000 match is now available for both the Artist Scholar Sponsorship Program and Hearts for the Arts, $25,000 for each campaign. If you have not contributed to one or both of these campaigns, now is the time to do so! Double your impact while you still have the chance.

Passionate about helping students in need?

Approximately 200 of OCSA’s nearly 2,300 talented students come from families that live below the national poverty level. Approximately 45% are in need of some financial assistance.

The Artist Scholar Sponsorship Program (ASSP) provides the complete OCSA experience to these talented and deserving students — covering the costs of their arts training and other school-related needs, including yearbooks, school dances, transportation, art supplies, and performance fees. OCSA is committed to removing barriers for any student to achieve academic and artistic success.

We invite you to support at one of the levels listed below, however, donations of all sizes will make a difference! Both your donation and the matching gift can be allocated to your conservatory of choice.

ASSP Support Levels

$30,000

Fully supports comprehensive arts training and other needs for one student through the complete six-year OCSA experience (grades 7-12).

$20,000

Fully supports comprehensive arts training and other needs for one student for all four years of high school (grades 9-12).

$10,000

Fully supports comprehensive arts training and other needs for two students for one school year.

$5,000

Fully supports comprehensive arts training and other needs for one student for one school year.

$2,500

Contributes toward arts training and other needs for one student for one school year.

$1,000

Supports art supplies and performances fees for one student for one school year.

Passionate About Arts Enrichment?

Hearts for the Arts (H4A) provides additional support for specialized arts conservatory needs beyond annual budgets, including:

Master classes through OCSA’s Master Artist Series
Off-site learning excursions and field trips
Enhanced arts enrichment opportunities
State-of-the-art instructional materials, equipment, and technology

Both your donation and the matching gift can be allocated to your conservatory of choice.

DONATE to H4A!

BONUS! Complimentary OCSA Brick Paver

Individuals who contribute $1,500 or more to this special holiday matching gift challenge will receive a complimentary personalized brick paver that will be installed along our Walk of Fame on the OCSA campus. This is a wonderful opportunity to honor your favorite OCSA student, conservatory, or teacher and leave a lasting legacy. Personalizations are limited to a maximum of three lines with a maximum of 20 characters per line (including spaces).

You will be contacted in January 2022 to coordinate the details of your personalized paver.

Feeling passionate about both ASSP and H4A?

If you would like to donate to both funds, you will need to complete two separate transactions.

Contributions to both ASSP and H4A are 100% tax deductible.

Of Special Note: Due to additional pandemic funding provided by the State of California to support in-person instruction, OCSA has been able to meet basic conservatory costs to cover salaries and classroom instruction for all conservatory programs. This means every dollar donated to ASSP or H4A will directly benefit the artist-scholars and students in the conservatories you designate to enhance their arts conservatory experience. We kindly ask that all families fulfill their Voluntary Contribution Agreements prior to committing to our Foundation campaigns.
